What Prize God Wrought
Columbia University announces the 2008 Pulitzer Prizes, including Daniel Walker Howe for history, John Matteson for biography, and Bob Dylan for a special citation.
I was going to blog this for the Dylan aspect, but THE WIRE (and my last girlfriend, whose father won a Pulitzer at the Philly Inquirer, under the "real" Whiting-Klebanow regime) have soured my appreciation of the Pulitzers. Perhaps tomorrow, if it's a slow news day.
