A university spokesperson said via email that while Harris remains an employee, he 'has withdrawn from his teaching, advising and other student-related activities. Columbia is deeply committed to fostering an environment that is free from gender-based discrimination and harassment.'"
Colleen Flaherty at Inside Higher Education reports that Prof. William Harris of Columbia University has stopped working with students in the wake of a sexual-harassment lawsuit.
